Samsung today announced two new handsets in the form of the Preston (S5600) and Star (S5230). These handsets are almost similar except that the Preston boasts a faster HSDPA connectivity for data. The Samsung Preston and Star feature an integrated FM radio, a 3.2MP camera, and Bluetooth connectivity. The Preston features a 2.8-inch display, meanwhile the Star has a larger 3-inch display. Both phones also boast the Widget UI allowing you to drag and drop widgets onto the main screen depending on what you need to access.
AT&T has officially confirmed about the upcoming release of the BlackBerry Curve 8900 on their network, which is likely be available starting early summer. This new handset promises to provide new features and enhanced performance, including AT&T Navigator system, free Wi-Fi at almost 20,000 AT&T hot spots, GPS, a fast generation processor, rich multimedia capabilities and ample memory for applications offered from AT&T.
T-Mobile has finally confirmed pricing for new customers who want to buy the Sidekick LX 2009. Priced at only $249 after-rebate on a two-year contract. The new Sidekick LX has a large screen that incorporates high-definition LCD technology, a camera with flash, and mood lights which lets users set specific settings for various communication alerts.
