Samsung’s upcoming C3060R handset is targeted especially for the elderly people. This easy to operate candybar phone comes with an illuminated keypad with big buttons along with a special operating system from Samsung which is specifically designed to meet the needs of older folk, including a much larger font size as well as simple menus. Other features include a 2.2-inch TFT display with 176 x 220 resolution, a 1.3MP camera, an FM radio and an SOS key. The C3060 will be available in Russia starting In June for about $190.

Orange and Nokia has joined together to release “Comes With Music” service exclusively for Orange customers on the Nokia 5800. This service will be available across a selection of Orange pay monthly price plans and upgrades from Friday 29th May 2009.

LG has announced the availability of its LG Xenon in Canada via Rogers Wireless, for as low as $79.99 with a 3-year contract agreement. This handset offers a 2.8-inch touchscreen display with 240 x 400 resolution, a full sliding QWERTY keyboard, a 2.0MP camera with video recording, an MP3 player, GPS, a microSDHC card slot (up to 16GB) and stereo Bluetooth connectivity. It also boasts on the Hello Interface program, which lets users customize their contacts, home screen and applications.
