AT&T and Samsung have released their new Windows Mobile-powered smartphone which is dubbed as the Samsung a167. This handset is categorized under the GoPhone family, allowing you to pay-as-you-go. The Samsung a167 supports dual-band GSM/GPRS connectivity (850/1900 MHz), a 128 x 160 internal CSTN display, web browser, a 2MB internal memory and a VGA camera. This affordable cell phone is priced at only $69.99 each, without contract agreement.

The FCC has finally approved the Samsung i7500 Android smartphone, which means that this handset will hit the US market very soon. In case you didn’t know, the i7500 offers a 3.2-inch AMOLED HVGA touchscreen display with 480 x 320 resolution, a 5MP camera, an 8GB of internal memory, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. This smartphone will work on the GSM/EDGE 850/1900MHz and 3G AWS 1700MHz band. For now we are assuming that T-Mobile USA will probably launch the i7500 sometime in the fall of 2009.
