Samsung has announced the availability of the Samsung i8910 HD or also known as the Omnia HD in the UK via Orange. The Symbian S60-powered handset has a 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen (640 x 360 pixels) LCD display, a superb 8MP camera, and an modified TouchWiz 3D implementation that works in the S60 environment. Nokia has announced their new slider phone, the Nokia 6600i, which is actually the successor of the Nokia 6600 slide that was launched about a year ago. The main difference between the 6600 slide and 6600i slide is that the new phone comes packed with a 5MP camera with dual LED flash, meanwhile, the old phone only comes with a 3.2MP camera. Sharp will release the Solar 936SH and 934SH cell phones in the Japanese market via SoftBank. Nokia has officially announced the availability of the N97 NAM in the US market. They will release the phone on June 2nd, 2009. You can also expect many of the U.S. retailers to sell the Nokia N97 NAM for around $600 even if the suggested price is $699. The cell phone features a 5MP camera, a touchscreen display, a QWERTY keyboard, a GPS, and a long battery life.
