Acer has showcased their new smartphone at Computex 2009. Dubbed as the F1, this new handset is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU and features a 3.8-inch TFT touchscreen display with 480 x 800 resolution, a 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash, an FM radio, a 3.5mm headset jack, GPS, WiFi, a 7.2Mbps HSDPA connectivity, and Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional OS.

Samsung has added a new color to its S8300 UltraTouch phone, namely Onyx Gold. Apart from having a new color, the specifications remain the same to the original phone. As a reminder, this slider phone offers a 2.8-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with 240 x 400 resolution, an 8MP autofocus camera with LED flash, Samsung’s TouchWiz UI, an accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate, HSDPA, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 and D1 video recording at 30fps.

The Meizu M8 3G specifications have been unveiled. The handset supports TD-SCDMA (M8-G3) and WCDMA (M8-W) networks, a Samsung C100 or C110 (800MHz or 1GHz) processor, a 3.54-inch display at 720 x 480 resolution, a fast USB 2.0 connectivity, a 8GB or 16GB flash memory, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash. This 3G version will be released in March 2010.
