Toshiba will finally release its ultra-thin TG01 smartphone in the UK starting on July 9. However, it’s not clear which carrier will offer the handset including details about the price. So here’s a quick reminder in case you’ve forgotten, you’ll find a 4.1-inch WVGA touchscreen display, a Qualcomm’s 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, Toshiba’s own 3D User interface, a 3.2MP camera, a microSD card slot, HSDPA, GPS, WiFi and runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 OS.

First off, the ROKR E2 hails from the legacy of the iTunes-compatible ROKR. However, the integration with iTunes wasn’t so great anyway so the guys up there decided to go their own way with their proprietary multimedia player – which is great in all things except its UI lag. The first noticeable flaw of the new ROKR is its operating system lag, and to think it runs on open source! Thankfully though, this is a lag that you can actually get used to (sounds dumb, I know, but it is true).

Samsung has officially announced four new mid-range mobile phones in the form of the Samsung S6700, C5510, M2510 and M2310. The M2310 and M2510 have dedicated music controls, while the M2310 has a VGA camera and the M2510 has a 1.3 megapixel camera.
The Samsung C5510 is a dual band 3G handset that comes equipped with a 2MP camera with fixed focus, and a 16GB of storage capacity. The Samsung S6700 is a slider with HSDPA, GPS, a 3MP camera with auto-focus and dual LED flash, and a 120MB of storage space.
Spain-based company, GeeksPhone has come out with their first Android phone namely the One. This new smartphone runs on Android 1.5 Cupcake and features a 625MHz PXA310 processor, a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, a 3.2 megapixel camera and a front-facing camera, a microSD card slot, AGPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and supports quad-band EDGE/HSDPA connectivity. The One will be available in Spain this summer unlocked for anywhere between $352 to $422.
