A Danish mobile phone site, Mobil has reportedly said that Sony Ericcson is working on their first Android powered XPERIA smartphone — codenamed “Rachael”, which is set to be released later this year. According to them, the phone will feature a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a big touchscreen display, a 8MP camera, HSPA, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a mini-USB connector.
Samsung has announced the availability of its new eco-friendly phone namely the Samsung S3030 Eco in Netherlands via T-Mobile. This new slider phone is made out of bio-plastic which is free of BFR (brominated flame retardants) and PVC. Meanwhile, its packaging is 100% made from recyclable materials along with an eco-friendly charger. The Facebook for iPhone 3.0 will be available for download (probably via the App Store) very soon. The new version of Facebook for iPhone will obviously bring many improvements and additions. Some of new features include Homescreen, News Feed, Notes, Pages, Events (with the ability to RSVP) and enhanced notifications. This application also allows you to create photo albums, upload photos, easily tag photos, zoom into photos, and add favorite profiles/pages to the homescreen.
