A Danish mobile phone site, Mobil has reportedly said that Sony Ericcson is working on their first Android powered XPERIA smartphone — codenamed “Rachael”, which is set to be released later this year. According to them, the phone will feature a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a big touchscreen display, a 8MP camera, HSPA, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a mini-USB connector.

Samsung has announced the availability of its new eco-friendly phone namely the Samsung S3030 Eco in Netherlands via T-Mobile. This new slider phone is made out of bio-plastic which is free of BFR (brominated flame retardants) and PVC. Meanwhile, its packaging is 100% made from recyclable materials along with an eco-friendly charger.
