Motorola SLVR combines superb performance with cutting-edge features, all within the sleek design of one of the slimmest phones around. Don’t just make a call – make a statement. It’s amazing how something so thin can still be so reassuringly sturdy. Motorola SLVR is a mobile marvel sheared to a sophisticated 11.5 mm thickness. Yet its large 176×220 TFT display with 262K colors is a feast for the eyes.
With Motorola SLVR so easily slipped into a pocket or bag you’ll never miss a chance to capture perfect moments, wherever they may happen. The fully integrated VGA digital camera and digital video make recording memories a snap
If you thought the RAZR V3 was cool, you’ll love the latest addition to Motorola’s line of super-chic, super-powerful phones–the SLVR L7. Packing all the great functionality of the RAZR V3, plus a few more bells and whistles like removable memory, the SLVR L7 adopts a thin, candy-bar form factor that is sure to turn heads. The SLVR L7 also adds support for iTunes, allowing you to play, sort, store and manage your music right on the phone. With long-range Bluetooth, support for video playback, a VGA (640 x 480) camera and a gorgeous color screen it’s a must-have phone for those who want to stay on the cutting edge.
The good:
The Motorola Slvr L7 has an attractive overall design. It also comes with an integrated iTunes player, Bluetooth, a sharp display, a TransFlash card slot, and a speakerphone, as well as solid call and music-audio quality.
The bad:
The Motorola Slvr L7’s iTunes player is sluggish, and it’s burdened with too many usage restrictions. The phone is further hampered by a low-resolution VGA camera, a lack of support for EDGE, tricky controls, no FM radio or stereo speakers, and little integrated memory.
The bottom line:
Motorola’s Slvr L7 puts a prettier face on the iTunes phone, but its low-resolution camera, its sluggish music-player performance, and the limitations on the iTunes usability are big distractions.
Quite fair, that’s exactly what I want to say.
