Samsung is preparing to launch another entry-level phone for the mass market. Dubbed as the Samsung C5130, this slider phone features a 2-inch 176 x 144 pixels display with 262K colors, a 1.3MP camera, a music player, an FM radio, a microSD card slot, Bluetooth 2.0 and supports both quad-band GSM/EDGE as well as 3G (UMTS) connectivities. Pricing and release date are still unknown at the moment.

US Cellular’s has released two new handsets from Samsung in the form of the Samsung Trill and Caliber. The Samsung r520 Trill is the music-oriented slider that features Bang & Olufsen’s ICEpower signal processing and a 1GB of onboard memory, which is expandable up to 33GB. Meanwhile, the Samsung r850 Caliber is a full-touch piece with a 3.2-inch WQVGA display, TouchWiz, a 3-megapixel camera with video capture, and full HTML browsing. Sadly, there is no info on pricing at this time.

Vertu has finally released their first clamshell handset for the mass market. The Vertu Constellation F Ayxta features GPS, 3G HSDPA, a MicroSD card support, a 3MP camera with dual LED flash, and City Brief that provides “restaurant recommendations, the latest exhibitions, shopping guides and important cultural etiquette tips.” The Ayxta was made from expensive materials including stainless steel, ceramic, leather, sapphire crystal (for the display) and aerospace grade aluminum parts. The price ranges from €4,900 ($7,198) to €6,500 ($9,548).

Samsung has officially announced the release date of its upcoming Samsung Instinct HD. The handset will be available for purchase starting on September 27th through Best Buy, and October 11th via Sprint’s retail channels. The Sony Ericsson T707 will be released by T-Mobile USA as Sony Ericsson Equinox.
