Alltel has recently launched another stylish low-end phone from LG namely the AX310. This entry-level clamshell offers a voice-activated calling, a one-touch speakerphone, a 1.3MP camera with zoom and speaker-independent voice control. The LG AX310 retails for only $29.99 with a 1-year service agreement and after a $30 mail-in rebate.

The FCC has approved the Sony Ericsson Yari, which is also known as the Sony Ericsson U100a. It is a slider phone that comes with gesture controls which apparently will make your games a whole lot more fun. Additional features include a 2.4-inch display (240×320), a GPS receiver, a 5MP camera with flash, a separate camera for video calls, stereo speakers, Bluetooth, WiFi, and a microSD memory expansion slot. The Yari runs UMTS Bands 1, 2, and 5, and GSM GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900. No info on pricing or availability so far.

Nokia has finally released the Nokia N86 8MP dual-slider phone in the US market. It is no longer a pre-order on Amazon. Priced at $468.99, the Nokia N86 is actually Nokia’s new imaging flagship. The handset features an 8MP camera with dual-LEDs flash, GPS, S60 3rd edition FP2 operating system, a 2.6-inch QVGA OLED display, US 3G up to 3.6Mbps on the downlink, and WiFi connectivity.
